Completes human resources activities, invoice payments, budgeting, facilities management, tax bill mailing, contract management, ballot storage, and document scanning and retention
Collects property tax payments and performs research for taxpayers, property tax resolutions, tax abatements, excess proceeds, government property lease excise tax (GPLET), and tax lien and deed activities.
Functions as the bank for school districts and special taxing districts, oversees the Treasurer’s Office’s investment portfolio of seven to ten billion dollars, manages the online banking portal, compiles financial reports, and makes debt payments on bonds.
Maintains and updates the office’s computer systems and software, develops new software for the office, provides application support to system users, and manages all data associated with property taxes.
